Morriscastle Strand Holiday Park is located directly beside the soft dunes of the 20km long Blue Flag beach at Morriscastle.
It is a family owned and run park, in business since 1969. On site facilities include well maintained toilet blocks with showers, launderettes, playgrounds, tennis, snooker, table-tennis, basketball and foozeball. Our shop & reception are open for June, July and August while the take-away opens for July & August.
Morriscastle is located perfectly for you to avail of the tourist attractions in the surrounding area, including The National Heritage Park, Johnstown Castle, Tintern Abbey and Wexford Wildfowl Reserve. We are within 20 minutes drive from the bustling harbour of Courtown which has a swimming complex and other amenities for kids. The beautiful fishing village of Kilmore Quay is an hour away and Hook Head Lighthouse. The Dunbrody Famine Ship and JFK Arboretum are all located 45 minutes away in New Ross. Closer to the site you can visit the many excellent pet farms in the area while our village of Kilmuckridge boasts 4 pubs, 2 supermarkets, 2 restaurants, a post office, garage and chemist.
Plese note that we are a 'families-only' site, we have a strict curfew for children under 16 years (11pm). For safety reasons we do not allow bikes, scooters, roller-blades or skateboards on site. We do NOT allow open flamed fires, but off-the-ground bbqs are permitted. We have quiet time from midnight and security is a priority. Check out time is 1pm, late stay is available until 6pm for €10.
