A full range of facilities include a well equipped camper`s kitchen with cookers, utenils and crockery. There is also a picnic garden with barbecue. The camper`s sitting room with a turf fire in the evenings is renowned for impromptu music sessions. Musicians are very welcome to join in.

Things to see and do

Mannix Point is just fifteen minutes walk to town with great pubs, restaurants, galleries, traditional music and dancing. There are two supermarkets a few minutes from the park.

Mannix Point is perfectly situated for watersports, archeological sites, hill, mountain and foreshore walks, sub-tropical gardens, fishing, blue-flag beaches, horse riding, bird watching and spectacular cycle and car tours and clean, clean Atlantic air. The local dinghy club sail from Mannix Point. Temporary membership and courses available. It is the nearest park to the departure port for Skellings.

For the Cahirciveen Celtic Festival of Mucis and the Arts (1st weekend in August) pre-booking is essential. Three nights minimum payment for festival weekend.
