Tranquil camping and caravan park in tHE West of Ireland

Carrowkeel Park is a quiet and well maintained park in the heart of Co. Mayo with a high standard of hygiene.  The Park is approximately 8km from Castlebar, the main county town with all the major supermarkets, health spa, 7-screen cinema complex and circa 30 pubs.

The reception doubles as a small shop with basic (food) supplies and as a mini Tourist Office with a lot of information about the area and its many attractions.

Park facilities

For the children we have an outdoor play-area and indoor games-room with pool, table tennis and darts.

In the evening you can relax around the open fire and/or enjoy a meal (take-away is also available) in our Clubhouse. There are regular music session (in high season). We also have a campers' kitchen, WiFi access and we provide a laundry service.

Activities & attractions:

The River Moy, which is famous for (salmon) fishing, is only a few kilometres away. There are also various good fishing lakes nearby, such as Derryhick Lake, Lough Cullin and Lough Conn. You can also fish the Clydagh River where it borders the Park.

The campsite is ideally located for walking (the Foxford Way, Croagh Patrick, Nephin and various looped walks), cycling (the Humbert Tour) and touring (Connemara & Achill Island).

Westport, the National Museum of Country Life, Downpatrick Head and the Ceide Fields are all within a short driving distance.
