Caravan and camping park located on a family run orchard

Welcome to The Apple Camping and Caravan Park. Ours is a unique park situated on a fruit farm. All summer long we have a succession of fruits from strawberries to raspberries to plums and apples. When you visit you will be welcome to try some of these, and you will also be presented with a bottle of our award-winning farm-pressed apple juice (Bridgestone Guide: Best in Ireland, 2011).

Our family runs our orchards, fruit fields and campsite to a very high standard. The facilities are kept thoroughly clean, and the campsite itself is well maintained and nicely landscaped. We have a genuine concern for the environment, and encourage full recycling of all waste, with segregation of metals, glass, plastics, paper, and so on a feature of our site. A wind-energy provider supplies all electricity, and in addition, we have solar panels for water heating for showers etc.

Our site won the Bord Failte ambience award in 1999, and overall three star award in 2000, and our farm has won the National Award for fruits in 2004.

Pricing System:

Our pricing is simplicity in itself. There is no charge per unit (tent, caravan or camper), per car, per awning etc. The only price is per person. Hot water and showers are also free of charge, as is the use of tennis courts, rackets, and other site facilities.

Total price: €6.50 per adult per night and

€4.50 per child per night.
