Set on 5 acres of wonderful countryside on the shore of Lough Ree. Ideally located 2 miles from Athlone town on N55 road. Visitors may enjoy the peace and tranquillity of this family run park, with its own jetty and boat slip. Ideal for angling, boating, windsurfing, sailing and especially canoeing. This park is bordered by a 500m stretch of the Breensford trout river. Convenient base for visiting Clonmacnoise, scenic walks, daily cruises on the River Shannon, golfing, horse riding, sailing locally. Recreation room and camper's kitchen on site. Pub beside the park. Bus groups and clubs catered; reductions for students or large groups. We do not accept credit cards.
