Award winning Wicklow caravan park

River Valley is a multi-award winning family run park in the Garden of Ireland surrounded by green hills in the quaint village of Redcross.

The park is within easy access of the three ferry ports - Dublin, Dun Laoghaire and Rosslare.  The many tourist attractions like the Wicklow National Park, Glendalough, Vale of Avoca (Ballykissangel), the meetings of the waters, Brittas Bay, Avondale House, Mount Usher, Kilruddery and Powerscourt gardens are all close by.

Family Caravan and Camping

As a family you will never be short of things to do in River Valley. Spend some quality time together in your caravan and tent and enjoy all the on-park activities and fabulous kids clubs. All sites for caravans, motorhomes and tents are level and spacious.  Modern toilets/shower block with baby changing, disabled toilets, laundry room and campers kitchen.

Secret Garden (Adult only Caravan and Camping)

If you have never been on a caravan and camping holiday or feel its only for children. Please come to River Valley and book into the Secret Garden, this area is for adults only and we have focused on peace, comfort and relaxation. Each individual site is hard standing and really spacious with all amenities, such as water, waste and 10amp electricity. The luxurious toilet and shower block is centrally heated and has wheel chair access. The beautifully landscaped grounds offer plenty of trees, shrubs and flowers.

7 nights for the price of 6 when paid in full at time of booking.

Mickey Finn’s Pub

On site is Mickey Finns Pub and Restaurant (National Tourist pub award in 2010).  A rustic pub with welcoming open fires serving home cooked pub grub and fine dining.  Traditional Irish music and dancing (June-September).  Live music and sing along sessions every weekend.  Log onto www.mickeyfinnspub.ie for details.

New for 2012

Walkway

For this year there will be a new 1.5 km walk from the holiday park with a scenic viewing area at its highest point where it is possible to enjoy views out to the sea at one side and the Wicklow Mountains on the other. Over 2,000 trees have been planted along the route.  We are hoping to have deer to keep you company along the way.

Park Policy

In the Family area of the holiday park the focus is on the children rather than the adults.  With this in mind if you are looking for a caravan & camping park where you can sit up with your friends and disturb others by talking and drinking after 11pm this is NOT the park for you.  We will always place the emphasis on the kids having a good nights sleep rather than the adults having a good night out.
