Great location
"I stayed here in my tent for a few days and it was the perfect location for exploring East Cork as the campsite is very handy to the N25.
It was very handy for Cork City and I spent a great day there sampling some of the sights including the Crawford Gallery, the shops on Patrick Street and lovely cafes and a restaurant.
Over the next few days I also explored Midleton (don't miss the brewery hic!), Cobh, Castlemartyr, Passage West, Gyleen, Ballycotton and Youghal.
It's also handy for Fota Wildlife Park but I've been there many times before when my son was younger so I didn't go on this trip.
The campsite was very calm and I liked the contrast of the birdsong from the bushes around me compared with the traffic on the dual carriageway outside.
The facilities were basic but very clean. I loved the tiles on the floor of the toilets - a fabulous mixture of various tiles in a creative display.
The owner is a lovely lady and was very friendly.
I would definitely stay here again - such a handy spot."

A short stay
"Stayed here for two nights last week camping. Its a basic site but its a great location for visiting cobh and foto island is just down the road. Its well signposted but it is difficult to get into if coming down the opposite side of the motor way. The site is run by a lovely lady who was very helpful and friendly.Overall we enjoyed our stay here ."
