Reviews

  • Excellent, clean and handy site – This is a beautiful, well-kept site with lots of hard-standing and lots of room for our awning at no extra cost. Showers were also free and spotlessly clean. Charlotte was really helpful and friendly. The walk into Clifden is only around 25 minutes, some of it (about 5 mins) on the main road but then there is a walkway you can take until you meet the section of road where you meet the footpath. In Clifden there are lots of lovely places to eat and drink. We got such a lovely welcome at @Lowrys where they were mindful of social distancing but not at the expense of creating a great atmosphere – no TV which was brilliant👏 – just the sound of chatter. Very handy for touring the @WildAtlanticWay. We’ll be back!

  • Highly recommended – This caravan park is spacious, clean, convenient and friendly. We really loved the area, its off the beaten track. 30 mins walk on Google, uphill on the way out of Clifden, some parts are on the road. Can be difficult to get taxi – I would recommend booking. We got a very spacious caravan area with lots of room for our car and awning. They have a pizza van outside the main area: the pizzas are amazing and the Gluten Free are just as good as regular. This camp site has a cleaning area, showers: large individual stalls, toilets, a dinning area and a pool room. The staff I met were friendly, fun and professional. Thank you for an amazing holiday.
