“One of the best sites we've been to.” We've just left Adare Camping and Caravanning Park, having stayed there two nights. Our hosts were very helpful and friendly, spaces between sites were good, the toilet block was clean, as were the showers. A very pleasant and peaceful site, a few happy children checking out the donkey and pony. The area is very interesting. We drove to Lough Gur, and also the Grand Stone Circle, found a castle which is inhabited by the owner who has been renovating it for the past ten years on her own...Clonony Castle, well worth the visit as the lady owner invited us in and showed us around. Adare is a lovely town, a bit crowded with American tourists but had a good wander around. Stayed September 2014, travelled as a couple
