It is definitely quieter than London....... Stayed here one night in a campervan. Staff friendly. Lovely clean site and there is a large kitchen area which you can use and a games room with pool table. Play area for children also. The area is so peaceful and quiet and the walks are lovely in the area with plenty to do locally. We visited in March when it was quiet and really enjoyed the peaceful vibe. There is also a family thatched cottage which the Grandfather lived in, which had been preserved and was really authentic. I had to knock on the site owners door later which you don't like to do however she was friendly and helped out. Wifi only in communal area. Great stay and would recommend this site Date of visit: March 2020
Amazing experience in Lough Crew!! I could not recommend Lough Crew Megalithic Centre highly enough. It was our first glamping trip with our 1 year old and 3 year old and they had a ball. The yurts were amazing!! The facilities were excellent and every area was exceptionally clean and checked regularly by staff. Sarah and Niall were extremely friendly and easy to deal with. They were always onsite ensuring everyone was ok. They looked after us so well throughout our stay. Definitely going glamping to Lough crew again!!! Thank u Sarah and Niall!!
