“The perfect spot for a tranquil time”. I chose Moat Farm for a short two night excursion to Wicklow to undertake some hiking in the mountains purely based on it's remote, yet easily accessible and well serviced location and also on other TripAdvisor reviews. And they were not wrong. The campsite is beautiful and clean and looks straight out on to the mountain ranges. The facilities (showers, toilets, kitchen and sitting room) were brilliantly maintained and clean and the village has just enough of what you need without becoming too busy. Nuala was lovely and very accommodating and gave a true Irish welcome. I will be back here for sure. A great spot and cannot wait for my retyrn visit. Stayed March 2015, travelled solo
“Very friendly”. We stayed for a couple of days on this well kept campsite. Big thanks to Nuala & Naoimi who were very helpful in our time of crisis! Thanks again. Showers & toilets are very well kept and kitchen is massive. No activites on site for kids but they still had a ball. Little handball court down the street was good for practising hurling. Pub down the street serves food and has big screens great for watching World Cup! Bit of drive however to Glendalough and Clara Laragh etc.. Stayed July 2014, travelled with family
